Host Strings in OneSky

We recommend the localization process be streamlined and automated. This empowers all parties involved in app localization to work together efficiently.

OneSky provides a comprehensive solution to get your app content localized without the need of back and forth intervention. Our solution covers the flow all the way from monitoring new source content, to the deployment of latest translations in your app.

There are a few methods to import your source content into OneSky. These include manual import, content host integration, and import via CLI.

Push strings to OneSky

Pushing string files manually

If you’re looking to do some quick experimentation, you can upload your string files directly via the Dashboard.

Pushing from a Third-Party Platform

If you’re using one of our supported third-party platforms (e.g. Github), we recommend utilizing our official extension to handle synchronizing your strings to OneSky. Further information on available frameworks can be found in our Ecosystem Guide.

Pushing strings via CLI

If your app's source code is not hosted by our supported third-party platforms, we recommend pushing your strings to OneSky via our CLI to obtain the benefit from automation.

What's next

After strings are pushed to OneSky, they can be translated by OneSky's translation service.
